Therapy for Healthy Relationships

Transforming Trauma into Connection

Our relationships don’t exist in a vacuum—they're shaped by how we feel about ourselves, the stories we carry, and the patterns we picked up along the way (often without even realizing it). And if you’ve experienced complex trauma, you may have noticed that connection sometimes feels… complicated. Complex trauma usually isn’t just one event—it’s the accumulation of many smaller, often ongoing experiences that left you feeling unsafe, unseen, or like you had to abandon parts of yourself to get by. Maybe you find yourself bracing for rejection, over-accommodating to avoid conflict, or swinging between closeness and distance without quite knowing why. These aren’t character flaws—they’re adaptations. Therapy gives you space to make sense of those patterns and begin to relate in ways that feel safer, freer, and more aligned with who you are now.

Our early relationships teach us a lot about love, safety, and what’s expected of us—and when those experiences were painful, chaotic, or inconsistent, they can have a negative impact. In therapy, we’ll explore how those past dynamics might still be playing out in your present life, from romantic partnerships to friendships to the relationship you have with yourself. We’ll work to gently interrupt those old cycles and build new ones based on clarity, self-trust, and connection.

This work is deeply relational. That means our sessions aren’t just about talking about relationships—they’re about experiencing something different in real time: safety, attunement, respect. Whether you’re navigating attachment wounds, people-pleasing, emotional reactivity, or just trying to feel more connected and less alone, we’ll move at your pace, with curiosity and care. You don’t have to figure it all out by yourself.
